Since they have this deep bond, they don’t really want to get involved and start something that’s going to have to finish as they both do not handle pain/heartache well. I never imagined Musk completely dismantling verification as we knew it and creating instead an incentive structure to spread misinformation. Yet, the best aspect of their relationship is the fact that, ultimately, Willem comes to realize that the parent he thought he was not so similar to may actually have more in common with him than he thought. Eventually, their friendship shifts into an attraction that becomes so very hard to deny and Teagan and Caleb finally give up and give in. It's moments like this throughout the novel that add that emotional element driving the narrative to an exceptional level. One day of watching the rise and fall of her sleep under the rolling clouds in that park and feeling so peaceful that I fell asleep myself. But if you read it as Willem's journey just as Allyson had her journey in the first book, I think you'll find a book that you will enjoy.

Caleb Yates is a foreign exchange student from London, England and he will be living with the Carroll family for one year. Their story is heart-achingly angsty and it was pure torture waiting for Caleb and Teagan to finally let the pent up attraction take over. The opening dragged and I really didn’t find Teagan’s first encounter with Caleb in the men’s room and that dumb bathroom humor as any kind of meet-cute or attention-grabbing. When Willem wakes up, he's not sure where he is, he just knows that he's alone and that someone's waiting for him. You should be warned that you aren't going to find a lot of interaction between Willem and Allyson in this book.
